lol ok, try help you, but you need to put more information about your laptop
What kind of graphic card is it? Geforce of Ati?
What kind of tool did you use to set the resolution (clone or other option i think you did?)
You said connect, but wat did you do after you actually connect the cable between your lap and tv. You also said it worked before. So I think your laptop DOES support Audio over HDMI (yes next time put this in your info too)

EXpanding or cloning to a tv via your lap ->
You can do this via the standard default windows option in the control panel or use the company tool (ati or Gforce screen stuff)
I recommend you to use the ATI or Geforce tool. There are lot of option on this panel. Try different resolutions (don't use the "clone option". Many people use this and this will resulting into a native resolution in your tv. (i think you did this, your laptop native resolution is 720 i guess?)

I think the problem is not your lap if you setup it right on your lap (the settings), but its your TV which hasnt been setup. On your hdtv there is a option to select the Audio from HDMI, but also from the white/red jack connection (so check your TV) select the audio, maybe the tv has reset it standard to JACK

  7. my graphic card is the ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5470 Graphics

and i used the CCC for everything like the resolution

eh.. i'll play around with the tv then.. x.x

You might want to check with your laptop manufacturer if audio is being sent through the HDMI port. Sometimes, it's just video only.

    ^ this.

on my Acer Revo i have an SPDIF optical out, HDMI out, DVI out and regular audio out port.

Took me almost 20 minutes to get the audio from its default HDMI video/audio setting to the SPDIF out.

Things were alot easier after downloading the latest realtek audio software for me though.

  10. it worked before tho... watched bluray movies just fine.

when i tried it yesterday it didnt work x.x

hmm ill play around with it later
