Although Head Phones seem to be better, it feels kind of weird having that clamp over my head, however in my experience, I have just bought cheap $10 earphones that don't last long ! After a while, the wire frays and the sound starts to come out just one end. Any body have a mid -tier quality head phone/ ear phone? Thanks
When dollar store headphones break, you throw them away. When you buy headphones mid and high end headphones, you send them into get fixed. I guess I fit the criteria. What do you want to know?
My sennheiser HD595's came in today and as good as they are (pretty damn good) I still only think of them as mid-tier, even though they cost $150 Mid-High Tier would be HD650's @ $450 High-tier would be Audeze LCD-2's for me... @ $999 and God Tier would be something like the Ultrasone Edition 10's @ $2800 Word to the wise about getting into the headphone game... have deep pockets or prepare for alot of heartache. If all you're looking for is something for day-to-day use just get some skullcandies and call it a day. If you're serious about buying headphones, spend some time and do your own research. I don't have a reason to spend a lot because I don't have equipment to put it into good use. My experience is that skull candy sucks, especially the cheap $10, sony/phillips one. I guess I'll buy cheap ones but maybe something from sony, but not cheap cheap.
