Anyone please help me with this..I have been desperately needed to gain another 10 cm at least.. I'm way too short for a boy.. Please dont ask how tall am I.. I can assure you that it's a disgrace

I need some proffesional point of view on how to gain height..

Is there any thing that I can consume to gain height..I heard from my friend who said that by drinking Protein Shake and do some height gaining exercise, it might help.. but another friend of mine said that, Protein Shake will only increases the thickness of the bones and not the length of the bone..

Please, someone please help me with this..

I don't think it is a gene factor cause my grandfather is at least 6 foot tall..

How old are you? People generally stop growing around the age of 18-20, so if you are in that age range, I'm sorry.

I have seen that in China they have a surgery procedure to get taller, but I'm not sure if this is safe.

There's human growth hormone(HGH), but it will probably lead to body ailments later on. I don't recommend buying shoe inserts/pills/contraptions as most of those are scams, and they will just take your money.

im not that tall either, can't exactly help it....
i believe one factor is that i don't drink much milk (ie less calcium)

there are surgical procedures to get taller
tho thats only if ur extra desperate
    i wouldn't exactly recommended it

but basically its breaking the bones in your lower leg in multiple places
stretching it apart through screws, keeping it in place to make bone grow again
so u can gain the extra height in the bone growth areas...
    long n painful procedure

inventorybox, look at doing pylometric exercises. There are plenty online, they will increase your chances of growth. Continuous exercising of pylometrics properly should see you pull some cm's. I'm not saying it's a fast process but give it 6 months. Pylometrics work by working on your vertical jump. B-baller's use it all the time, but little do they know it also increases your chances of growing lol.
I recommend this because my mum is only 150cm my dad is 170cm and my sis is well 160 max. I did these exercises while i was in the last two years the end of highschool playing basketball...i already had my growth spurt....but during the summers i still grew....coaches and team physio then told me doing these excercises increases your height growth...I don't know whether it was 100% true but I have read promising stories on the net...while not some for others...now im regretting it because im at 185 and azn -.- lol

All if you want to be extreme break both of your legs and then you will definitely grow haha or do that "surgically" (But i mean thats if your really really really desperate and would want to break your legs :p)

^ Well, even if pylometric doesn't make you grow much taller (worst case scenario here), you are going to be able to throw fast, wicked punches and run longer (or jump higher)...

ok.. this is sth I've heard my aunties say: 'drink peanut soup'.. not sure how accurate is that, but if you desperate to grow tall, might wanna try that. Taste good too. :)

I don't think he wants to tell anyone. BUT anything above 5' 4" isn't so bad.

Height doesn't have a single variant gene, traits like height, hair/skin/eye color, are influenced by multiple genes in addition to environment.

well theres many things u can't help.... im not that tall, can't b helped, just accept it.
taking medicine doesn't necessarily work, but u can always try. and its def not cheap. but as most have said, do those exercises and give it some time. and keep in mind, don't do weights, they don't help

    nyckeion ....Boo....

dont feel bad man theres lots of girls i knwo shorter then you they are all around 5 o 5/2 area so you still got lots of choices hehe and for your question besiedes the surgery in china where they literally add length to your knees to be taller and i have heard the side affects are very painful
