Umm... so... are you trying to clone your hdd to your SSD including the OS or something...?

It is best to do a fresh install and just copy the documents you need and reinstall all the programs and stuff.

No, I'm not trying to clone my hdd to ssd. All I want is to move the user folder to hdd because over time the file size would increase. I wont have have much space in my ssd so i would like to move it into my 1tb hdd. I will be doing a fresh install on ssd.

My suggestion is to just copy the "Users" data over to a different hard drive and then pick out what files you still want. The only concern is if your "Users" folder have some program or save files that are linked to a program which might not work.

I'm planning on doing it right after the fresh install

EDIT: I really don't want to move 1 folder (ex: My Document, Desktop) at a time. I did some research but wasn't search which way seem to be the best.

Well, in my opinion, it is the best to have the least amount of random documents/files that you're not going to be using often. I would just pick out the stuff you want to keep on the SSD and throw the rest of the stuff onto the HDD. At least that's what I would personally do which I do that for all my Desktop when migrating from SSD to HDD, clean install, pick the documents I want to keep and install the new programs I need to use instead of filling up the SSD with unnecessary programs/documents/files

Upload it all to a filesharing site, keep it private, install your drive and then download it back from that site, and then delete everything. Of course if you have your own external hard drive, it would be that much more simpler.
