your sound cards fucked up, your sound driver is messed up, your speakers suck, so many reasons, find one lol, or you can roll back your driver (last resort, worked for me last time), Find it now before you get a heart attack from the absence of music, cause i almost did.
Since you said "deleted" I'm gonna assume you deleted some files related to your audio. So what you need to do is find out what onboard audio you have and find the audio driver on the net. If you have a sound card, reinstall your sound card driver, but if you had a sound card you probably wouldn't be asking for help. Good luck.
i think u meant "=(" instead of "=)" if ur happy u wouldn't be asking how to fix it.. probably a deleted driver file of some sort.... the disc that came with the sound card or if it's built in the cd that came with the motherboard should hav all the drivers on it..... some let u "repair" or u may just need to reinstall the driver....
Start > Control Panel > System > Look for Hardware tab > Device Manager > Expand "Sound video and game controller" > Look for your soundcard > right click properties > look for Driver tab Where to get drivers? - Google it OR use the CD that comes along with your sound card (or Motherboard CD if u are using onboard soundcard) OR Run Windows Update and select the sound card driver in the hardware section (might not necessarily recognize ur sound card but worth a try)
might sound stupid but check the plugs and stuff. Power plugs, plugs to computer, etc. Then if thats all correct. Easist thing is to do a system restore to when the problem first started hopefully u had a rollback date close to that. What were you doing when you deleted something? Im curious because its pretty hard to delete a driver unless you were in the system folders or fooling around with device manager. Maybe someone mute your speakesr?
oh yeah did you install a system registry cleaner or something like that cause last time i used a registry cleaner it deleted something that stopped my sound from working, i fixed it with the rollback on the system registry cleaning program though.
What kind of computer do you have? Is it pre-built? If so, get the make and model of the computer and search the company website for an audio driver. That should fix your problem. If you're having problems finding the driver, post the Make and Model here.
before you do anything, make sure all the plugs are in and also make sure that you didn't "mute" the audio (lol, i did this once and i almost went mad without audio, so i know what you are going thru)...
reinstall sound card driver? u have to check if it's the problem with the hardware by going to the device manager...
