Ok i live in toronto and i cant decide where to go to for university. I can either go to waterloo for fiancial management or university of toronto (scarborough) for managment. Both of them are coop, waterloo gets me a BA (bachelor of arts) will utsc gets me a BBA (bachelor of buisness administration). I dont know what either are but my frns tell me it doesnt matter since im gonna end up taking the same ca or cma exam... which i dont know what they are either. And heres the other thing. I dont wanna go to waterloo since i have to live on residence and i cant stand the thought of that. But i also dont want to go to UTSC cause it doesnt have a good a name as waterloo. Since PA filled wit so much wise ppl... HELP MEEEEEEEEEEE or imma -dead soon
Well, What do you want to be? An accountant? Financial Manager? Honestly though, after a few years your education won't matter. Just make sure you get a high GPA. That'll matter more in the end.
Hm...I don't think it really matters where you go...and the prestige isn't everything. I rejected Schulich for UTSC, but that was mainly for the co-op. I doubt employers really look at which school you go to, as long as you pass your CA/CMA exams and you get really good references during co-op, you should be set for a while. Hey, if you go to UTSC, I might see you there! If you go to Waterloo, you'll see my friend instead! Not that that really matters at all. It's ultimately your choice. <- I hated when everyone told me that when I was deciding, but it's true. If you make a decision and you end up hating it, you can't really blame anyone either. Whereas if someone else made the decision and you hate it afterwards, you'd be like, "Why did I listen to that idiot?" Make your decision soon! Deadlines are coming up quick. I went with utsc... over the past few days i got a barrage of insults telling me i shouldve went to waterloo just cause its got a better name, but meh i like utsc more. Actually i dont like it more... i just like the lack of needing to res.
