hmm does anyone know how to put subtitle in a movie if u have the srt file? I just can't figure out how to put the srt in the same directory as the movie. plz help me.
dude first you need to figure out where you're suppose to post for tech help... and rename the subs the same as the video file. then click load subtitles... but it should do it automatically if you have the right player...
use windows media player classic... and make sure the thing is named exactly the same as the video file....
umm load subtitle?? or are you missing some codecs...=/. Try download a codec pack... like k-lite or somethin. then it should work for shizzle for sure...
sigh -.- media player classic can't read srt file... Thanks anyway for your help, i really appreciate it.
no come on dont give up... it's suppose to read subs dammit -doh try to open up your .srt with word... and check that the damn thing aint screwed up....
just keep the srt file together in the same folder as your avi file, then download mplayer and mencoder from here http://mewig.sourceforge.net/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=7 the mencoder comes with the mplayer if you want to encode movies to display the subtitles download Directvobsub and install, it will automatically load the srt file into you player when you view your movie file. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/DirectVobSub.htm
or just download the k-lite codec pack... hmm thats another thing I might have overlooked... maybe he didn't have the subs in the same folder as the vid....
O now it works. Thanks for helping guys! Now i can watch the movie and understand it =P Wow, it's 3:37 am here. Im so tired -.- i wonder if i should watch it or not.
