I know I can google the answer, but right now I'm busy and don't have time. Anyway the story is, yesterday I rescued a baby bird that was being played around with cats and was almost killed. I don't know where it came from and I'm not sure what to do with it.

I gave it a temporary home and some water, but what should be the next step? I'm trying to figure out how/what to feed it.

Here is a picture if you're interested lol

  2. Best thing would be to go to a vet. Have it checked up and they should give you info on how to take care of this bird, what to eat and if it can be domesticated.

  4. i know nothing about birds so an animal hospital sounds like the best place to go.... whether or not that charge you for the visit.. I do not know..

At first i thought those were maggots.

Good job on rescuing the bird, and as many said.. guess you could only take it to a vet

    LMAO evo....

well, its hard to say, because at that age.....they might not of had enough experience to survive the wild. Its not really domesticate-able as the genes passed on from previous generation doesnt have that association with the human species, hence why they fly away. It takes a few generations of breeding to get a domesticated version of the bird. Usually you would have to get a replica mother bird, and use that to feed it, since it's grown up on being fed, not searching for a worm or whatnot on their own. The vet should give you some good tips, but becareful as some vets won't bother and some might be feared more for what they carry from the wild.
