hmm i was just wondering what classes are you guys taking? and your opinions of it? (please include the grade you're in too) as for myself, i am taking English 11 - i love this class.. my teacher is awesome hahaha so fun. AP Psychology - maybe its just becaue we're only learning the basics so far, but its so fricken boring. however the textbook is pretty interesting at some parts. Chemistry 12 - i kinda hate science, but my teacher's really funny so itsall good. Mandarin 11 - words can not describe how much i hate my teacher. she does not know any English and is so indecisive. first she tells us (in a majorly fobby accent) "if you have any questions, do not ask me. ask your friends." *ten minutes later my friend asks my other friend a question* "what are you doing?! please do not talk to each other!! if you have a question, ask me!! not your friends!!!" -nono Desktop Publishing 11 - hahaha such a slacking off class. i love my teacher.. he's awesome. Math 11 Honours - it's okay. the teacher's okay. PE 11 - all my friends are in that class!! woot.. but kinda boring, considering we do the same thing every class. Physics 11 - too... many... graphs... to... graph. = ='' oookay, i hope ppl'll answer now. =P
i remember in gr11 i had gym gr10 canto physics anthropology func/relation law english accountin im in college i got marketing business communication accounting food service management and intro hospitality
yeep..... some schools have 4 classes one semester, and the other 4 the next...... but i think having them all each term is better. that way i wouldn't forget everything i learned first semester the next year. =] but i guess 8 courses is pretty much a lot. =\
well...these are all first semesters...wich is now... Phyiscal Education 10 Drama 10 Science 10 Social 10 Dance 15 CALM for second is.... Math 10 English 10-1 (wich is kinda da better class...) Foods 10 Religion 10 Drama 20(I kinda wanna change it...sisnce i also have drama in first semester...)
AP Physics- it's an okay class, not as hard as everyone makes it out to be AP Calculus 2- HARD! Statistics- very easy class, most of the work is done on calculator Oral Communications- my friend literally dragged me into taking this class with her; fortunately, it's not so bad… English Honours- I like the readings, the research papers and documentations can get a bit frustrating though Micro Economics- can be fun occasionally, but mostly boring... I blame it on the teacher Spanish 4- it's okay, it's basically a compilation of everything I learned during the past 3 years really...
chem 11 - teacher can't teach english 11 - to many essays to write art 11 - fun class math 12 - nothing special french 11 - hate it! physics 11 - too many equations socials 11 - seminar presentations =[ religion 11 <---mandatory at my school even though im not catholic

hmmm these are the courses i'm planning to take next year in grade 12. any pointers/tips? English 12 Mandarin 12 (if a better teacher is teaching it) Media Arts 12 Photojournalism 12 (aka yearbook committee) Math 12 Honours Physics 12 AP Calculus hmm no idea what i should take as my 8th course.
i'm not too sure yet. my grandparents really want me to go to UBC because they think super duper smart ppl get into it (which is so not true - so many idiots got into that school), and my sister 'disappointed' them when she decided to go to SFU instead. i'm not sure what i want to get into yet... if i want to get into Communications then i guess SFU; if Engineering/Science i guess UBC. i'll decide next year. =P
yeah same with my parents....they think that UBC is for the "smarter" ppl so they want me to go there but i dunno......im thinking about going into the field of business but the past few years the standards are pretty high for that faculty. i think SFU is better for business and UBC is good for the Sciences
i guess school in BC is much more intense than it is in Cali. grade 10 spanish 3/4 ceramics - a very fun class algebra 3/4 chemistry - i used to take AP, but it was too hard and too time consuming english - possibly the hardest class for me pe
