After Hilary thrust forward her legal weight, Kenny has withdrawn from the verbal crossfire. When rampant rumors spread that Hilary Tsui, Josie Ho (何超儀), and Sam Lee (李璨琛) were the drug-taking celebrities at Kenny’s restaurant, they united with twelve others who had attended the dinner to clarify their innocence at a press conference. They denounced Kenny with a letter from their lawyers, pointing out that his comments brought about public contempt, hurting their characters and reputations. They gave Kenny an ultimatum agree to keep silent over the matter within 48 hours, or they will take appropriate legal action, which includes applying for an injunction to the court. I guess we will never know the truth of this matter. Unless Kenny has something against Hilary and them all; there's no reason to spread rumor and instigate trouble. Come on, they were going to his restaurant .. business means $$$. Unless the incident occurred, I think it's stupid for him to start such a rumor altogether. If he's trying to gain some media attention, then it's a bad move. Funny, somehow, the pics distributed online of Hilary and her friends do seem like they were all high .. I dunno.
Blackmailed to silence, not that the guy isn't a jerk himself. But shouldn't these people go do it at someone's house instead of a restaurant open to the public, and then having to stretch their muscles when what they did gets on tape? Maybe they're 'above the law' or so they think! :bowdown:
