Him Law (羅仲謙) sustained an injury while filming an action scene for Tiger Cubs 2 <飛虎 II> on July 22. He was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment and received two stitches. Him has since recovered and was back on the set the very next day. An action-heavy series, Tiger Cubs has a history of on-set injuries. While filming the original series in 2011, Christine Kuo (苟芸慧) accidentally hit her head on a telephone booth. Later, Savio Tsang’s (曾偉權) face was grazed by a plastic bullet. Ngo Ka Nin (敖嘉年) also suffered a slip during a fighting scene, his knee unfortunately hitting colleague Raymond Sin (單俊偉) in the forehead, injuring both. Him was at TVB City this morning to shoot an explosion scene for Tiger Cubs 2. As he was falling away from the explosions, Him landed on fragments of tempered glass that were on the ground. The glass pierced through his left buttock, at an area just above the thigh. Him was bleeding heavily. The crew immediately applied first aid to the wound and sent him to the emergency room. Him received two stitches and was sent home to rest. Producer Lam Chi Wah (林志華) stated he will rearrange Him’s action scenes for the next two days to give him time to heal. Reporters contacted Him after the accident. He appeared to be in good spirits and said that he will be more careful in the future. He said that the producer will schedule scenes according to his recovery progress, and asked fans not to worry. Him joked that there were female nurses present during his surgery, which made him rather embarrassed. He also shared that he is still in some pain and must sleep on his side to avoid hurting the wound. Creds: Ming Pao
