Tuesday December 19, 2006 Hong Kong The 2006 Chik Chak 903 music awards will be held on january 1, 2007. Yesterday the current top 3 for 'my favourite female/male singer' and 'favourite group' awards choosen by the audience through "one vote per person" system were announced. What is unexpected with the results is that the two singers of the "younger generation" (後輩) Hins Cheung and Kay Tse beat Joey Yung and Hacken Lee and are within top 3 at the moment. The voting will be closed on December 24th and the winners announced on the same date of the award cermony. Kaye Tse? first of all she shouldnt even be the top 5 females but theres no one else so shes there lol sorta like Fiona last year... Kaye's voice has protential BUT its quite funny how her stocks has risen after that publicity news about her pregnacy... Seeing Kaye winning a race over Janice and Joey is sad...and as for the male side some might be mad that Hins is beating Justin? lol im not too big on Justin Lo so thats ok. -lol
hmm...interesting results. Let's see what RTHK 29 GOLD SONG 2006 AWARD would list these artist under. i can't wait till they air it on radio, since i don't have chinese cable. Kay Tse is very popular in hong kong. her voice is pretty decent and unique, but yeah i didn't expect her beating Janice tho'. Hey wht can we both expect, there are always surprises. I'm glad Miriam Yeung has maded the top 3 because her multitalent abilities has gone beyond past most hk celebrities, i think. Hins Cheung...not one of my fav. i don't know why, maybe its his singing voice. I rather have Justin Lo b/c his Volar song is pretty good. I almost met him at my cousin's dinner party @ school, but i didn't feel like going....wish i did tho'. Oh well, there's Eason, who is my fav. of all times. he is so effin' talented just like Miriam. hmmm...i wonder if they are going to get together to do another comedy? I kinda thought that Janice would be in the top 3...and Kay? i havent really listened to any of her songs....except one....not a really big fan.. On the other hand...the guyz...i never really expected hins would win over Justin...since he had a concert and hins never realy did...wonder if its fixed? lol..
I'm really happy that Hins got into the top 3. i supported him since 2001. i think he is one of the best singer. and yeah i never really liked justin even though he has couple good songs.
