HK Veteran Actor Dies at 82

    Hong Kong veteran actor Kwan Hoi-Shan (关海山) died on Monday morning at the age of 82.

    Kwan faded out from the Hong Kong film and TV circle when he began suffering from cerebral palsy in 2001.

    Born in 1924, Kwan Hoi-Shan entered the spotlight at the age of 11 and is most familiar to Chinese audiences for his roles as father and tycoon in many masterpieces, including "Cold Blood Warm Heart"《天地男儿》 in 1996 and "Feud of the Two Brothers" 《流氓大亨》.

    Most Hong Kong stars and celebrities expressed their sorrow for the passing of "Uncle Shrimp," the nickname of Kwan Hoi-Shan, who is known as one of the backbones of the Hong Kong entertainment circle.

    ooooo .... yeah i heard about this yesterday from the news on tvb europe

    hmmm .... thought it was 1925 that he was born thats was i saw yesterday at age of 81, 1925-2006 on the news =P

    man my mother love almost all the mini series he's been in, also looks like part of my chilkdhood has gone to since he was like one of those people from tv that rasied you too
