home survellience works only if your PC is on 24/7 and it's not on hibernate. Otheriwse, it's a waste of elecctricity!
Man .. I should get one of those system too ... later cuz I have a rather big house .. 4 bedroom upstair and 2 downstair .. only one is occupied and the rest are empty .. lol .. not worry about being robbed cuz there are nothing expensive... lol .. we did get a full alarm system for safety reason .. very cool too .. from windows to doors to the roof and the floor.
You do know that it is very easy to build an inexpensive server that can run 24/7 and only use as much power as a light bulb, right?
