^ Dunno Phil, Dunno. I guess the "good" thing which was briefly highlighted in the news headlines here were an increased phone calls to support line for parents, especially dads saying how they were struggling and they were close to doing something like this.
It's a tragedy whenever an innocent child is killed. It becomes all the more notorious and (unfortunately) newsworthy when the one that murders the child is someone that you would normally expect to protect that child, even at the cost to their own life. What can compel one to completely disregard their natural parental instincts in such a horrific manner has been subjected to endless debates since the dawn of civilization. The only thing I want to do after reading such a sorrowful tale is to give all my kids a hug and hope that I myself, never fall prey to whatever foul influence this man was under. :tear:
