So for the past two nights, someone has egged the house I live in when I'm at uni. ;~; they used a whole carton of eggs each time! Apparently last night the people were in a rush because my housemate found two eggs in our lawn. We are trying to think of who would do that and we thought it would be someone from school who hates one of us but we don't think they would waste that much time during finals week to drive all the way to our house (we live pretty far from everyone else) two nights in a row. And last night was a rainy night so it was even weirder that they would hate us that much to drive out on a rainy night just to egg our house. Anyway, so right now we think it's one of our neighbors. The one across the street is some bitter indian guy who doesn't like it when anyone parks in front of his house (even though he never parks there!!) and so maybe our friends who came over parked there and he got angry? But then the thing is, he's faculty at my university. Do you think he would be that immature? Another possibility is our neighbors next door. They have many cars and they often park in front of our house. We don't have a problem with it but they have been blocking our driveway at times so we asked them nicely to try not to block it. We tried to greet them when we first moved in and give them our phone numbers in case they need to contact us but they seemed quite rude too. .__. My housemate just told me that she remembers the neighbors across the street have security cameras. We're wondering if their cameras have a view of our house.. and if he's not the culprit then maybe he can help us figure out who is doing it! I just don't know who would hate any of us that much lol. I'd say we're all pretty nice people. :( and even if there are people who hate us.. they would egg our house like once at most. And you'd think they do it some time other than final's week? lol I shall keep this thread updated on what info we get/anything else that happens! but sigh :( if I find out who that is... My housemate already called the cops and asked them to keep an eye out. I hope they catch the person!!
Unless you got something solid, gona be pretty hard to id these fuckers. Fuck the rollers-they aint gona put any focus. i say make a list and fucking tag em all.
Why waste the eggs when you can make omelets out of it? & yes, i think you should call the cops. Its some serious business.
I would just ask your neighbour and see if any of his CCTVs would have seen. I wouldn't think any of the possiblities are one of them tbh. I would think it would be someone form your univeristy or the kid srfom the neighbourhood, sometimes kids jsut catch phases on wanting to target certain places or people
Yes, you should ask your neighbour to see if they caught anything on tape. If they said no.. then.. they're a suspect.. something to hide maybe?
lol I honestly don't think anyone from my university would waste the time to do it. It was finals week so everyone was busy studying and getting their sleep. Why would they come out two nights in a row when it's rainy just to egg our house? doesn't make sense to us. And seriously, even if its some random kids why our house? It's not like some random corner house that everyone passes by.
Your EX(es) perhaps .. how many guys have you kicked to the curb this year or month? Maybe they're coming back to give you an early X-mas present .. lol Anyway, filing a police report is good .. set up the paper trail for a good lawsuit once the guy/gal is caught. I suggest that you and your roommate be more vigilant. Like you mentioned, it's weird someone would egg your place in Dec and two nights in a row despite the pouring rain; not to mention .. eggs aren't cheap these day .. you used to get 18 eggs for $1.99 at Costco but now it's $3.99 .. lol OH YEAH .. if you're gonna go home for the holidays .. make sure to move all your valuables - laptop, ipod, camera .. etc .. whatever are expensive.
lol none of us did anything to any guys so definitely not a possibility. yeah, for sure. I already brought back all my valuables and I was already home for the holidays when this happened. Definitely something weird. Hopefully its just a bunch of neighborhood kids messing around but I honestly doubt it's that.
you mentioned that the indian guy is a univ prof .. is there a possibility that his students are trying to get him back for a bad semester grade or whatever and they got the wrong house. i forgot to mention that if you're renting the house, you should also notify "property management" or owner about it. who know, they might get a cam for ya'll instead of you doing it at your own expense. neighborhood kids or not .. if the person is caught, i'd pressed charges and SUE for IIED ...lol
I don't know if he's a professor but he definitely works at my university. My housemate is the owner and she's the one who discovered everything.
is it still going on? if they used an old box of eggs then ok.. but if they keep buying more eggs then there is a problem.
OH .. then who cares .. just worry about yourself and your own stuffs. Perhaps it's the owner's prob w/ ppl if NOT you and the eggs are targeted at her/him since they know s/he's the owner.
Hope you are fine. The good thing is at least he's not throwing stones. Specifically targeting your house only? Looks like you've got some 'time and money wasting enemies'. Any idea in the times of being egged? A camera would be helpful but the guy is probably wearing a mask when he's doing it. There must be good neighbours next door who would look out for you too. Think you need to spend some time hunting the culprit.
So we just got egged again last night. I think I actually heard it but thought it was my housemate just moving around. This time, though, if it happens again I'm ready lol. I have a bat ready as well as a few bb guns and a camera!!!!! Some empty bottles too.
