How Do I Get More Seeds For My Torrent?

HOW DO I GET MORE SEEDS FOR MY TORRENT? because my download is going really slow and i don't know why.. and this is my first time downloading..

 

unless you know the pple personally or can put in a request from where you got the torrent... there's absolutely no way you can get "more seeds" thas like telling pple to go visit you, when they don't even have your address..

 

Rule of thumb - Jump on the bandwagon and not on the last train

 

my download is going very slow because i dont know how to open my ports but i tried but didn't work

I find bittorrent really slow too...can't really do anything about seeds though...

 

you have to open more port and listening to more seeders..
I think so...

 

you dont just "get" seeds. they have to be avaliable and willing to distribute. and for all those people out there who only leech. dont do it. many trackers nowadays count your ip and ur download / upload ratio. i find keeping a 1 : 1 ratio works best and i've downloaded up to 3 megs a second.
