take a machette or a big chopping knife and use the bottom tip and be very very careful it's easy to slip
i dunon i drank the ones they sold on the street in china town and they use big ass machette knifes to open those... but those anert round tho...i think they are baby/young coconuts.
coconuts are awesome...get a flat head screw driver or a chizel n a hammer n find the center at the top where the two halves meet n..well...use chizel or screw driver as a nail n use the hammer n the rest should follow...
scrap off the layer of hairy stuff, and ull see two holes, get screw driver and puncture hose and pur juice out, nd then use knife to cut it open
be nice to it..... jk when i had 1 for the first time in a fair i threw it around everywhere until it cracked -sweat
i don't know whether this method will work, it came with the coconut i purchased today: 'Drain out the juice by piercing the soft eye with a skewer. Place coconut in a hot oven (200C/500F) for approximately 10 minutes until shell cracks. remove from oven and break into pieces by tapping with a hammer. prise out the meat with the blade of a knife. plunge white meat into cold water to preent it from cooking.' The method i use is after draining out the coconut juice hold the coconut in one hand with the eye facing either left or right side and hit the side of the coconut with the back of the cleaver, rotate and hit it again until it cracks in half. good luck
