I personally do not keep in touch with my exs after we've broken up. For me, when a relationship ends, there's a serious issue about the personality that I do not dig. Even though I'm more lenient with expectations for my friends than for my boyfriends, I can't be friends with somebody who has hurt me so much when he is the one that I trusted the most. I don't care how strong the bond was when we were together because people change, and people can change to somebody completely opposite of the person with whom you fell in love.
