I normally download loads of eps at a time...and while it's downloading i'll probably be sleeping or be outta the house hanging round with mates init. Can't be bothered to go on the net while downloading, loading pages takes long

I'm using a DSL broadband connection, and my download speeds vary from item to item and site to site:
--For direct downloads from PA - about 75kb/s+
--For direct downloads of most things - about 180kb/s+
--For BT (that has good amount of seeds - about 50kb/s+
--For Windows downloads and other downloads from major corporations - about 500kb/s+
--For downloads that are hosted on the other side of this planet (in Asia, especially if I'm @ a China web site) - about 5kb/s

I'm also using a wireless router, located on a different floor from the modem... So I might not be reaching full potential....

i think if torrent files, it depends on number of seeders and their upload speed. and if it's DDL, it depends on the host. I get good speed with Filefront but not with sendspace.

    Mine's abt 40-50 kb/s and i paid for 512 as well... >.<
For BT, usually not more than 20 kb/s

lol, when using BT I sometimes see it's only 1 or 2 kb/s but an hour later it could be 200 kb/s, so I guess it depends on the day of time and how many people are using it or something.

But according to my own internet provider my max. down and upstream speed should be 12000/1024 kb/s for ADSL2+

    Direct Download - around 100kb
    Mega - 60-70kb
Torrent - It takes too long all the time so I don't download torrent.

    FileFront is the Best.
