Nah sometimes a new game sells for cheaper when the system does not update in time. Usually if you shop in the store, The sales would direct you to the new one instead even though they earn more by selling you the used ones. GameStop earn their money from buying and reselling the used games. New Games does not earn them a lot of all cause the profit margin is not that huge.
My friend was looking for a game in gamestop and the price for that game [used] was 24.99 and later he found the same game [new] in bestbuy at 19.99 so he returned the used one to gamestop. Since that i check different place before buying for used or new.
lol, $3 more for no box, now thats a bargain. Maybe it was used by someone famous, that's why they jacked up the price on the used version.
