    I live alone,
    i love to cook
so i have ingrediants up the wazoooo in my kitchen

    I tried something
I didn't buy groceries (unless needed something specific) and tried to eat up what was in my cupboards and junk

carbs - canned soup, noodles, instant foods, rice, cereal
meat - lots of frozen meats, dumplings, canned tuna, etc
favor - jars of sauces both in the fridge and cupboard, a spice rack
veggies - what was in my veggie drawer, frozen veggies (and this is what i did buy)
dairy - cheeze stores for a long time, and well i did go and buy milk
snacks - chips and ice cream, dessert mixes (mango pudding)

man, i went two weeks without buying more than one bag of groceries (just milk and veggies)
and i still have a lot of food to substain me
    that kinds weirds me out

That's not too surprising. Haha...I stock up on a lot of food too. = ) I can end up spending hundreds at the supermarket!! I've got lots of canned tuna, cheese, soup, pasta, veggies (mostly salads/those you can eat raw) and seasonal fruits.

^^ Haha, me the same! if you give me money and let me choose to spend it in a supermarket or a clothes store, I'll always opt for the first one! I have like 3 corners in my room stocked up with food like canned tuna, corn, pasta, Kellogs, sauces, herbs, crisps, cookies, candies, cookies, candies, chocolate, tea, ice tea mixes and more candies and cookies! -inlove

Yeah, I can survive at least 3 months with all the food in my room...-sweat

i live on my own. i don't have anything. because i live alone, i know whatever i buy, i'll eat it all. i do groceries once a week. usually a container of tofu, veggie, 4 apples, 3 oranges and some other fruit (for the past month, its been strawberries) and a jug of soya milk.
my pantry consists of a box of cheerios and a bag of dried mangos.

No clue but for sure not bc of difficulty in getting fresh products. Never asked them the exact reason. As long as theres food on the table, im all cool with it.

hahaha, if u need food, u can always come see me.

Must be an asian thing to stock up on food. :D

Hmmm, can I freeze this unsuspicious bag of unidentified thing in a black garbage bag in one of your freezers? JKS

    it's not an asian thing
but it is a sign of someone who has lived through hardship (and is paranoid of future)

or someone who has learned to grow their own food
