How to Convert MKV file to RMVB?

I have downloaded the old TVB series Journey to Love and it is in TV-MKV Format. I want to know is there any free software that you can convert mkv file to rmvb? How do you convert mkv file to rmvb?

 

why would you want to do that anyways... lol unless you have a rmvb player.....mkv is the superior format!

the wd mini at home doesn't play mkv's =(

that was why i said unless he has a rmvb player why would he want to convert....

 

i saw a format called rmvb hd? and its like 300mb smaller than mkv maybe he wants that!

 

but its hd quality! avi is not!

couldn't play it on my computer and I do have a dvd player that plays rmvb files which I could put it on my jump drive and plug it in to the usb on the dvd player and I have realplayer on my computer. That is how I can watch all the new TVB series such as Lives of Omission. Yes, rmvb files r much smaller and fits more on a 16 GB jump drive.

 

VLC media player for mkv files! and 16gb can fit a whole series... it can fit 22 movies @ 700mbs a piece!

 

if you can't play rmvb on your computer... just dl the right codecs
=)
