what do you mean by your laptop not supporting the volume adjustment system?

if you have a windows, start menu > all programs > accessories > entertainment > volume control
when you get there, look for the play control column and drag the balance left/right for your desired audio.

This should work for you. If not, somtimes if i have external speakers I can adjust the balance there or turn one of the speakers off.

Yeah if he's using Vista then he can longer just click on the volume icon for the balance. In vista you have to , right click the volume icon icon -> Click Playback devices -> Right click Speakers(or whatever you're using) -> Properties -> go to levels tabs -> balance. Took me a while to figure that out myself.

If you're playing the movie with VLC you should be able to choose either the canto or mando audio.

Is one language on the left channel and the other language on the right channel? Or are they played simultaneously even though one channel is muted?

Either way I use ffdshow to play dual audio movies. In ffdshow you can play a channel solo or you can switch streams.
