Hi, I've recently purchased an extended battery for my hp pavilion laptop. I am just wondering how long does it usually last? Because i think mine probably lasts around 4hrs?..=_=", ive always thought extended batteries are supposed to last around 6-8hrs? I paid quite a lot for it, so did i get rip off?<_<
lol, you have to read the specs on the battery, most batteries will last as the "stated" time when everything is turned off (bluetooth, wireless, webcam) and the computer is sitting there idel; the power consumption also includes if you have ur computer running? brightness of your screen and other stuff that is running inside the laptop; if you regular battery lasts your 2 hrs in ur normal usage and 4 hours on this extended, u are already getting double of the time -bigsmiles
for 6 cells they usually last around two hours and 9 cells last like 4 hours. But after a year, the battery will degrade and won't last as long...
