Guys Guys Guys. thinking of one of these phones love them both but only can be bought.. lol... Guys tell me what you think and tell me why i should get it. :wavey:Thanks.
Personal preference by the looks of them... HTC because I have read good reviews about it and never really a good fan of Motos
The HD2 is a fucking beast of a device. All phrases from me (non bias of course). However, the size and lack of keyboard may be in issue if you're a heavy email or text freak. Then again, you may like that non tactile feedback. It will suit you well as a media device and handle pretty much anything you throw at it. Not pocket friendly. Easy access to ROMS at XDA. Easy to find serials for winmo apps. It's the faster device of the two. Droid, the not so new kid on the block. The ever so present keyboard. Some may still call a lack of apps for android an issue. There is that Moto rep out there, keep in mind, moto is taking a different approach here with this device and it's a somewhat clean slate for them. If you'r a Google fan, full integration with all it's products. Outline your needs, features and pick one based on that. Spec layout for both devices: http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_milestone-3001.php http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_hd2-2957.php Followed by ferocious reviews (read): http://pocketnow.com/review/htc-hd2 http://www.tracyandmatt.co.uk/blogs/index.php/motorola-milestone-review Knoc
I've got my eye on the HD2. Waiting for it to release here in the US and jump on it. Motorola was notorious for their power jack failure. Buddy of mine had numerous phones from Motorola which stopped charging after a few months.
well..that really depends, what OS do you prefer, WinMo 6.5 or Goggle Android.. WinMo have a fairly great amount of useful and fun apps as for now, however, android have a greater potential in the future... hardware wise, HD2's Snapdragon is better compared to the OMAP 3430 chipset that is in the Droid, and i think it is also the only phone that HTC announced to be upgradable to WinMo 7 when it comes out... as for droid, it has a full qwerty keyboard, which HD2 lacks...so if you prefer physical keyboard much much more then touch screen virtual keyboard, then i think droid is a better choice for you personally i would suggest HD2 for the larger screen and much powerful hardware
HTC gutted out the winMobile OS. there are still traces of it of course but definitely revamped the OS to work more seamlessly with the snapdragon processor.
my friends got a HTC HD2 ~ and its soo cool... i was about to buy one too, but then i decided to buy a flash unit for my d80 instead i would choose HTC HD2
it depends on ur needs. both are very good phones but one is touchscreen without keyboard whereas the other one has a keyboard. so if u do a lot of texting and emails and like keyboard, get the motorola. having said that u could always get a blackberry, there are rele good as well. i do rele like the 9700 bold.
BB i used the curve and the Storm 2 before yh really good but you cant do much if you on pay and go. i dnt really like contract i like to pay what i use.
weeeee just got the htc hd2 from htc directly this morning.... cant wait for winmob 7 to instal it... should be ok.. mean while itscool to use yes the phone is big but its worth it at the end when you watching video on it... haha... any htc hd2 users here?
