  1. Hi, I have some dvd I want to share,
but how can I rip them and convert to rmvb to share with you.
    Can someone teach me how.

To rip en convert in GOOD Quality and small enough (around 200-300MB)

If Someone can teach me a SIMPLE way and if possible fast way to do that then I can share a lot with you and put them all on DDL Megaupload.

    Help me help you?

    Thanx

first of all, you need : a lot TIME, softwares and a very FAST computer with tons of space.

most important: "ANYDVD" or something similar, for encrypted/copy-protected DVDs/VCDs/BlueR
    and k-lit codecs.
    for ".rmvb":
there are alot of softwares that can convert DVDs to ".rmvb", ALL are not free.
the free way is a TWo step process: convert DVD to mpeg then to ".rmvb"
    - use DVDDcrypter/Vob2Mpg to convert DVD to mpeg2, both softwares are free.
    - use ERMP (free) to convert mpeg file to ".rmvb"
    for ".mkv":
use automkv, which is free complex program.
converts from dvd to ".mkv" and many other formats, but very CPU intensive
my e2160 is near 100% for both cores during conversion.
you also need "windows media encoder version 9.0", ".net framework ver 1.1", as well
    "AviSynth" installed.
for .AVI, you need: "Xvid codec"
    for subtitles, you need: "VobSub"
heck, you probably need a lot of other codecs like: "coreAVC, coreAAC" too.
and a lot of Hard drive space, like 30GB or more....
