Import Car Owners.... This Thread Is For U Guys To Post Up Pics Of Your Ride And Your Specs.... I Will Up My Pics Soon....
i want to have a nice sup up car..maybe in 2 or 3 years...its so expensive too...any1 goin to importfest?
It is lowered, he put on Tien springs. Didn't do shocks tho -shock bouncy >.< I spent too much money on my car only to have it not look special, and not especially fast. Ops. Oh well, it gets me by
I dun have a pic of the car itself but I have one of me drive'n it in the lounge area and it's a back civic with revolution exaust and some bs intake with complete black widow 1 kit dropped with some coil overs and a decent sound system. I lost interest in the car though ever since I've been into the rsx so that'll be my next project which is gonna be a sleeper. Edit: Stock rims btw; that's when I lost interest in the project but I was going for the white Tenzo Passion 5z. Edit: It's in the members pic and intro section.
Yea, running on stock shocks. It's actually not too bouncy though (by mean that the car is going up and down when you're driving or going over little dips, like when the springs are cut) the only thing is that the car is dropped so low that when you drive over a dip too fast you will hit the top side of the inner fender. Yup, it's an expensive hobby.. specially when you blow the moter by hydrolocking it..
the pics at the top of the page are not lowered. the pics at the bottom of the page is lowered. it's not that big of a drop to where the tires are tugging the one in my sig is not lowered.. got those huge wheel gap
I'm guessing those tires came with the rims? You should get 1 inch tires and tuck em since you don't have a kit and that'll give your car a much better look. Then remove the black strips on the car and bondle the sides. My friend in cali' has a same model civic same color but it was and ex and all she did was tuck the tires and it looked way better that way. The car was no more than 4 inches off the ground. Edit: Also, if you tuck the tires you're gonna need front and rear struts so you don't eff up ur fenders on sharp turns.
Noo, i actually went acouple of times with friends, they find out where it is and drag me along. lol.
I got these rims used from a homeboy of mine. They're 205/40 17 inch. The front is close to tugging after the springs are settled. I took the pics right after they were installed so it was a little higher. 4 inches of the ground is low. there are a lot of speed bumps in the parking lots and it's a PIA to go over them, not even sure if u can go over em with less than 4 inch clearance without scrapping the bottom. Hopefully the speed bump isn't too high to where the car gets stuck like a see-saw. It looks alright to me now as it is, so i try not to spend too much on this car anymore and just save up for another car.
