When people say that to me, I don't expect for them to call me, nor do I sit there and hold my breath waiting for them to call me back. It's just another way of saying bye. I don't usually say that; I usually say good night, bye, or I'll talk to you soon. I mean, later doesn't mean later today... it could mean later in life, so why take it so seriously??
I agree with you. I don't really take much notice into these things.If they say "I'll talk to you later", I'll just say bye. It's kind of a casual thing in convos like that. You can't really set a time on "later", so normally I don't assume that they'd actually call me back. To answer your question...less than half would actually call back, and if they do, it would be a week later or something.
I say "talk to you later" or "later". I say it because I have intentions of keeping in touch sometime in the future. If you hear me just say "Bye", then you're in trouble. >.<
it's just another way of saying goodbye so you shouldn't take it too seriously. like when my friends say "smell ya later" i don't expect him/her to actually come by and smell me.
Usually when i said that, i never call back the next day. I'll always take a few days at least. I believe it's another way of saying, keep in touch...
I type that when I'm chatting because I'm having dinner or something. I usually come back anyway. Some people do come back, others don't though.
umm.. more like you'll be in trouble like, goodbye cruel world!! Then we'll have to find on you on a -boat. We should be on alert tho. when Knoc says "Bye... " -what? I think i should say I'll talk to you later rather than I'll call you back.. cuz I never call them back -lol. I dunno just seems kinda wierd like you would think they'll call you back to continue the middle of whatever you were talkin about, but then they jus leave you hangin...
