So I have this engineering assignment where I have to pick a product that's been improved with the environment taken into consideration. It could be a product, process, or anything else that involves engineering. The product needs to have had an "initial state" (eg initial state of the ipod was any mp3 that came before it) I was hoping if someone has any ideas about what I could write about?
I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but there are alot of products that have taken into account of the environment. Examples: cleaning products - there are more cleaning products that are more environmentally friendly based on the chemicals that are used in them. packing material - new packing material have been used to replace the the styrofoam "popcorn" this material will dissolve in water and not take up space at landfills. also, alot of cardboard boxes are now made of recycled paper. automobiles - more cars are becoming environmentally friendly with the use of hybrid technologies... those are a few that come to mind.
