normally, if the themesong is good, i find the drama to be good.. but the people who sings it, (i think its kathy) kinda puts me off....she cant really sing? but i'll give it a try lol
old? maybe the war scenes are bad, but they are definitely not too old for their roles...do people know history? what a 20-30 year old gonna be experience enough to open their own military school? lead a bunch of new soldiers into war?
The older have more experiences ! I like it so far the series ! If the story is good and the cast is good, it should be a good series lar ! But if the story is really bad and have a amazing casting, that dosen't change that the series will be bad !
You said the casts are old makes the series rubbish? YOU TOTALLY DON'T HAVE ANY RESPECT FOR OLD ARTIST. Keep watching the garbage new actors and actress now a days they can't even act. In America most of the good actors are older than 35yrs old!
i reckon its okay, daiman is a good actor but plot is abit too simple/light.i don't know much details on how Cai E rebelled against Yuan shikai but i'm sure they can make it more interesting like involve more people like Sun Yat-sen. but it definately lacks good military scenes.
