1. Once you've loaded up firefox go to the address bar and type: about:config 2. Right click and select: New>Integer 3. Name the integer: nglayout.initialpaint.delay 4. Change the integers value to: 0 this does is tells firefox to wait 0 milliseconds before loading the page so the page loads extremly fast.
Can't tell if it works or not. DSL is already so fast. But no ill effects yet. So let's see. Once in awhile Firefox takes a long time to load graphics for me.
personally, i dont feel this makes a difference for me...but hey..if u want to try..go ahead...its a hit or miss if u actually notice pages loading faster...
yea I've experienced a lot of slow page loading when there are a lot of images... also firefox hogs quite a bit of memory... guess i'll try this out and see wha happens but how do i revert back if it don't work?
Ok well mayb this config doesnt work for everyone, but for me i noticed the loading time for me was much quicker. Not a huge significant thing but hey you can never get enough speed for internet
