Incredible Puppetry Fight sequence ! Freak out !

    Just when you thought you seen it all,

    Here is a clip, Wuxia fight sequence complete with special effects and great camera work.
    Clip is in Hokkien and the origins are from Taiwan.

    Yeah sounds like the same guy doing all the lines :p
    But gosh the Special effects is pretty good. Sound effects is also great. Oh well.
    They should have paid more attention to the vocals.

    when it comes to puppet shows... it's not so much how the vocals sound, but how well they enunciate/pronounce the words correctly...

    After watching a couple of times more, I think you are right. What is perhaps missing are the gongs and and the pauses etc. It is not the traditional opera style.

    Right now I am just trying to figure out how this is done. There are no strings. It does not appear that they have been rotoscoped out. It is hand controlled somehow but how on earth did they manage to create the spinning of the various swords so nimbly...

    Taiwanese Puppetry is really a very rich tradition and they have kept up to the times.

    I think there are string, if he knows how to add special effect, I don't think there will be a problem removing them either
