I couldn't imagine how terrifying it must have been for this poor girl. She reportedly strayed across the Indo-Pak border about 12 years ago, and was found by Pakistani border patrols. Not knowing she was from India, they turned her over to Pakistani social agencies, where she was spent more than a decade. Then Indian and Pakistani official discovered that she may have been Indian and an effort to find her real family ensued. Though there isn't a happy ending yet, as after her return to India, the people who claim to be her mother and father weren't recognized by her. DNA results are pending.
