Do you believe in internet love?? Can someone really fall in love with each other over the internet? Would you ever date someone over the internet or go across the border to see this person???
yeah, i've even done this before... the difference was he came to see me from Japan... but it doesn't really work out...
It is dangerous but I have friends whom married people they met online. I also know people hook up online too so I am not surprised by internet love. The bottom line is whether you can afford to take the risk or not. I think online meeting is so common these days that most people know how to protect themselves. If you don't then it's better that you don't do so. I have met up with people online for marathon running and practice together at the gym. These are complete strangers but we share the same goal and still friend till now.
now we know wot's on Alex's mind all the time :wackit: anyway... i have heard ppl getting married to the person they met on the internet... n i don't think meeting someone online is more dangerous than meeting someone in a bar or on the street... u just need to know how to protect urself...

there can b hundreds of reasons y things don't work out in ANY relationship... not just the ones u meet online... the internet is just a way to meet people... like meeting someone from a book store or a cafe... u guys r making it sound like only skanks meets ppl online... that's a lil unfair...

I dunno if you guy still remember but ICQ was hot once upon a time .. I met a lot of people on there and when I was taking an important exam back then; gals sent me "wong tai sin" lucky charm from HK, another sent me tea ... very cool ..
of coz meeting ppl online is risky... but there's a risky in every way that u meet ppl... ur next door neighbor can b a serial killer... i'm just saying not everyone on the net is evil... i'm good -innocent hahaha... but u just need to becareful...
