My apologies if there is one somewhere, but I don't see where it is? I see 19 other discussions in this forum, and none appear to be about this - unless maybe another topic wandered off into talking about this.
I think it's probably more useful to everybody if, in the event of somebody posting a topic that has been previously covered, one rather posted a link to the original topic than simply squashing the topic. New folks are most likely to look through the category where such a topic would logically go, and finding it not there, would post it. If one has to perform a search everytime one wants to open his mouth, then it makes it less worth the while of posting in the first place. That's if you indeed want to have new folks sticking around, that is.
n that being said......back to the original topic....and the topic wasn't killed.....a question was raised....
ok i see nothing wrong with interracial realtionships the same way i don't see anything wrong with gays. It's all about love and if you have the chemistry then you're good.
There are a lot of people around, of most if not all races, that are against it. Would this be based on fear because they are not used to seeing it? Or could it be something deeper or more sinister?
people of different races becoming couples eg caucasian girl with asian male ......asian male with spanish female.....get the idea?..... knoc
I have nothing against it. I just guess there are some barriers that discourage interacial relationship such as: -culture -language -uncertainty about the unknown. For instance, not knowing what a type of person of a particular race are like. -skin colour -and many others since this is not an exhaustive list. Just imagine what would happen if a girl from china had an african boyfriend and were seen together in her hometown of china. People or relativies in her hometown would start gossiping and giving negative comments. This happen because they are not used to seeing this type of interracial relationship everyday. In a western country it is more accepted since it is more common.
When it comes to dating, I don't discriminate, which means I'm open to dating any ethnicity, provided that I'm attracted to the person and the person is decent and worthy of dating. These days, however, I find myself a lot more drawn to Chinese guys...
Im in an interracial r/ship at the moment. Im Asian(obviously ) and he's German,English,Irish . The thing is though , when it comes to meeting the families part, it's kinda hard. My folks can't speak English all that well and his folks have strong accents.. So yeah my folks have trouble understanding his and vice versa. It used to bug me initially when people stare at us all the time when we're out of the city( out in the country where his family is) and gives us the worst glares.. Now, I cant be fussed about these minor things as we're going on smoothly which is all that matters. So to all of you that are curious about interracial r/ships, all you have to do is give it a shot. Who knows, it might be the right one . Good luck
