other than some newer features, i still think the 5MP camera & flash is old school...
back when many phones including the one still using SE W800i had 2MP and flash already...

I'm seriously thinking of getting the new iPhone. I was tempted to get the 3GS but when I heard the 4G was coming I've been waiting patiently. The videos about it mention that there is glass on both sides, and the glass is special it sounds like its super strong....I wonder if that means its scratch resistant

in the keynote they mention just the mega pixels cant really state the cameras quality blah blah blah.
in some way i agree. just look at my old LG viewty 5 mega pixel camera....
and then theres always the look at SE 8 mega pixel camera phones....

according to the keynote the glass is also used on bullet train windows.
and is something like 30 times stronger. oh and "More scratch proof"-blush

More MP just means a bigger picture, it doesn't necessarily mean the quality is better.

To be honest Iphone has a good name for the High res screen so 5MP will just make it crisp and clear. bare in mind 2MP is a standard photo and 5 a decent for a phone.

they should of kicked it to 8 to be on the safe side. lol.

damn 2 phone i cant wait to get nokia N8 and the iphone 4.

    hehe

i guess i will get the iphone 4
nokia N8 could have been cool without the plastic border, the front screen looks really nice without any front home button but the plastic border is so ugly

the only thing i hate on the iphone is the top and bottom black frames with that home button
    sigh
i want a phone like the nokia N900 but without keyboard, N900 is way too thick

i will be so disgusted if the iphone 5 is what i wish, full front glass screen without any front button >_<

anyway i will get the white one with a protective case, it looks so damn hot
    look at this:

    im still hesitating what color

MP and better quality pics go hand in hand; it might not be noticeable when you see on your computer screen but once you do cropping or larger prints, the MP kicks in...the higher the more pixels and in turn more details
you can easily experience this by taking a sky with an airplane in the sky with 8MP camera & a 12MP camera, with the same type of zoom, and when you do the cropping, the one with 12MP camera will have significant clearer and more detailed picture quality...the cropped photo with less MP will have more grains on the photo

Yes i bought a fully unlocked Iphone 3gs white 32GB. But using 02 network 02 is best in my mind. lol

i have to preoder the iphone 4 as im goin to thailand on 20th this month so i will miss the release date so probs have to pick it up when im back 2 months time. but ill be poping in PA to check the posts out if anyone bought it so have some reviews.

just really not very happy on some points on the iphone 4 as no radio they should really put a 12MP for the cam.

dnt know if you know but the china market brand phone Altek leo they have put in a wopping 14.1 MP and the sence they put in is really good too lol

United States don't have unlocked version iPhone. There is however, a no contract price for an iPhone to use with AT&T. It is $599 for 16gb and $699 for 32gb for no commitment pricing. Early upgrade pricing is $399 for 16gb and $499 for 32gb. Eligible upgrade and new customer pricing is $199 for 16gb and $299 for 32gb.
