can you get on the internet fine with your iPhone?
usually if you can't recieve or send picture messages it is somethign to do with the settings on the phone or the settings of your internet connection on the iPhone

this new iphone is tempting but i don't really wanna get stuck with it. i heard the iphone sim cards can only b used in iphones and can't b used in other phones. for me i don't like being stuck in a contract and i change phones like every year.

well it really depends where you are??
coz in UK it's only contracted with o2 which is the network that i am on now and that sim card can be used on other phones too

No that's not true. My iphone is unlocked and so I'm using my t-mobile sim card and I can still that sim with my other phones if I wanted to. And if you're worried about contract just go with a one year contract and you can still get the deal...

I have wifi so I steal internet from my neighbors or surrounding areas. But I called my carrier and he told me that I can download Swirly mms which would allow me to send and receive picture message but I can't figure it out so I was wondering if there would be any other options for me...

err.. do not multi post.. you can multi quote!!

and im not too sure about UK though coz they are erally funny about locking up phones to the certain sim card or phone numbers now so that the phone companies do not lose out on money
