Hello everyone There's this girl I've been hanging out with and I'm really interested in her. Right now we're just really good friends. Anyway, her birthday is in a couple months and I have no clue what to get her. When she found out it was my birthday, she went shopping right away and got me something kind of pricey on her budget (she wouldn't tell me how much, so naturally I googled it and found out), and for her birthday she told me just wanted socks with neat patterns or designs... I'd definitely feel bad if that's all I got her. I was talking it over with another friend, and I was going to go buy her this Swarovski figurine for $95.00 in addition to some socks. Keep in mind that we've only known each other for like 4 months, but I've become closer to her than my other friends that I've known for much longer. So is that too much? Any suggestions would be appreciated PS: The gift she got me was only around $40.
blah had something written then it got erased. In any case.. She's not the type of girl to expect anyone to buy her really expensive things... She's turning 21, which is kind of a big deal and is why I wanted to do something big for her. I'd be up for any other suggestions on what to get her though. I only wanted to get her this figurine thing for her room because I notice that she keeps a lot of trinkets and stuff around. Figure it's nice addition
dammit.. he took my idea.. but I dunno.. if she's into that kinda stuff.. swarovski figurines are kinda waste of money.. you might as well get her some jewelry.. something she could wear around.. but then again.. you guys ARE NOT even dating!! don't buy her something that expensive cause it's gonna be weird if she's not into you like that..
fixed =p why dont u ask urself: IS IT TOO MUCH? lol (its a lot for 4 months imo......but if u're really interested, sigh* i guess that would show ur concern & care -____-'')
When she was at my house she we watched Youtube videos together hahah. She noticed that I only use a headset, so she got me a speaker system for my computer @ecko As for something expensive, I don't mind spending a little something for someone's birthday. The girl I use to like got me a really nice leather wallet for my birthday. I got her a Sony digital photo frame for hers. I also got another one of my friend a lego train set too haha. - I wasn't expecting her, of all people to have gotten me a gift like that. When she told me she was buying me something, she made it sound like she was getting a bag of candy or something. And she kind of went last minute too, so she blew all the tips she made from work on me, which made me feel bad. She mentioned to me that to me that nobody ever does anything for her birthday, which is kind of why I wanted to do something about it. I was planning to invite her along when we celebrated my other friend's birthday, so could do 2 for 1
buy her a swarovski phone charm lor... most of em are ard 50 euros... which is a lot less than $90... their more useful than the figurines... ive received a few before but i actually prefer jewelry too... n if u wanna spend that much money u might as well get her a nice mp3 player? thats something nice to receive too...
Just don't, get her a figurine and not a phone charm... I consider the chances of breaking quite carefully before buying friend one...
considering it's been only four months, it is bit much to spend. if you get her the figurine, she might expect you to keep getting her expensive gifts. i'm sure if you spend some more time with her you'll find the perfect gift.
yea I understand what you're all saying. But I don't know what else she would like. I mean she wants socks, wth? I could get her an MP3 too but I'd have to stick with an iPod since her car adapter only supports it. She's the type of person that thinks that it's the thought that counts, not the bigger the price the better the gift. I really doubt it'll go to her expecting gucci or LV bags considering that's not her style. I got a lot of time to think about it anyway
get her a pair of these socks http://www.sockdreams.com/_shop/pages/socks_detail_ProductID_88.php nice gift idea n u can get a laugh outta it
