I know this is false, but what I really want is a link that shows evidence. Can someone give me a link in chinese about this so I can prove it to my parents from being so dogmatic? Thanks.
LOL funny this coming up today... I was getting a regular check up yesterday and read in some medical magazine talking about myths and facts. myth - hair grows back thincker longer after shaving... blah blah blah medical research shows its - FALSE! and sorry, I didnt steal the magazine so I cant show you =P just incase you wanted to know myth - waxing is better, skin is smoother fact - shaving feels rough cause your hair grows back, and when its so short it cant really be seen so it feels rough.. etc etc
there is also medical research saying cracking your knuckles doesn't make the mid section of your finger bigger either...
o thats good news then..seein how i crack my knuckles (click my fingers) :laugh2: but i'm trying to stop
Like I said I know it's not true if you read my comment, what I'm looking for is evidence in chinese so I can show it to my parents since they're stubborn to believe me.
^lol its true... u will see what wonders google can do... sometimes when ppl ask a Q i just go there n paste it here with link so they can see.. today i just cant be bothered n she wasnt nice in her second page ------------------- edit... so i just did a quick google search n countless results... as for chin evidence....find someone who can write chin
cracking knuckle causes osteo arthritis is what i heard thus far shave your hair and it will grow back "thicker" pending on "where" you're talking about ...lol
^ well you need to read some medical research on knuckle cracking.... it clearly states there is no known correlation between habitual crackers and non crackers.... clearly your parents have got it into your head.... the whole shaving thing, the more you shave it the faster your body wants to grow it.... your hair is one thing that tries to keep your body warm.... if by thicker you mean faster hair growth sure.... but i have yet to see people walking around with 1" diameter thick hair.....
its because of how the hair strand is shaped i believe. thinner at the end and thicker near the root. so when u shave it, you cut it down to where the hair is thicker. then when it grows u have that thicker bit as the end if you get what i mean. so it looks like it became thicker?
that is true if you shave it often, I only do that for my eyebrows, because I want a thicker and darker eyebrow, but I don't shave a lot, just the tip of it so it can grow back thicker.
I shaved all my hair last night and omg. I grew like 10 inches of hair. EVERYWHERE. Good thing it happened this time of the year. Its freeeeezing outside. But its snowing so like all the hair gets wet. Doesn't feel too good when that happens -shock And yes... Google is all knowing.
