You need luck to get good cards; but you also need skills to decide when to follow and when to drop. When to take a risk; or fake a 'threat'.
if you're playing for serious money, then it's a matter of skills. if you're playing a casual game, then it's more luck then skill.
i tyink its to do with both luck and skills....to be honest.....but i suck at poker....can never seem to bluff >.<
Guess you need lots of skills to cover up everything I think, it depends on what type of person you are.
^ thats also very true mav....as i always end up laughing or giggling away when i got "good" cards or so my friends say as i always have to pair up wid someone as i dont actually fully understand the game
^Lol bbear.. then u giggle every time lo.. They wun know when u haf bad cards Just like that stephen chow haha always "Showhand"
^ but when i got bad cards i also *sigh* so i just give up and watch my friends play instead...or sometimes i help my friends out by looking at other peoples cards hahaah
