Early this month, Andy Lau confirmed that his 45-years-old wife Carol Zhu Liqian is 4 months pregnant, people had been guessing the gender of the baby. According to report by Sudden Weekly, Andy accompanied his wife for check-up and requested to do Ultrasonic examination and confirmed that she’s pregnant with a boy. It is also said that he had turned down several film offers in order to accompany his wife, he will become a father as soon as June! Andy who is always protective of his wife thus keeping low profile of his family life. Since winning the Golden Horse Film Awards Best Actor award, he first reveal the pregnancy on his website then admitting his wife is 4 months pregnant during a promotion activity for A Simple Life several days ago. When asked about the gender of the baby, he answered: “I loved both boy and girl.” Everyone predicted that it will be a baby girl, could even be a triplets. However, report by Sudden Weekly pointed out that it is a dragon boy. As Carol is already 45 years old, thus need to examine for down syndrome, the doctor then revealed that it should be a boy. Last week, Andy again accompanied his wife for a checkup with Hong Kong well known doctor Dr. Ho Wing Chiu Clement.
