"With Philadelphia 76ers general manager Billy King all but announcing he is going to trade Allen Iverson this summer, it certainly appears the seven-time All-Star will don a new uniform next season. Iverson spoke publicly about the situation last week, saying that "he'd like to be in Philadelphia if the Sixers want him." Still, King appears resolute in his intention to deal his talented guard. Philadelphia faltered last season both on the floor and at the gate, despite the fact that Iverson and Chris Webber were healthy all season. With A.I.'s age (31), his salary (about $20 million per year) and the likelihood that the Sixers are looking at another trip to the lottery, King wants to trade Iverson and begin the rebuilding process. " -Steve Kerr I just picture him in a Knick Jersey for some reason.
just trade him alrdy =D he alrdy done with the 76ers -_- need hes to be reborn no one can stay forever on a team even kg he gonna be trade pretty soon (i hope not)
many rumors going on. I think he'll most likely end up in Denver, Boston or Memphis because those clubs can use a player like him and also have assets to trade for him.
i mean really popular playes..san antonia only got duncan....look at houston's team..the team goin nowhere
I consider Parker one of the top players in the league. If anything you can look back at the David Robinson/ Duncan days. Houston has two major players Yao and McGrady..... When you say really popular do you mean MVP material? cause Phoenix has Marion (MVP votes), Nash (MVP), and Stoudamire (2nd runnerup 2005 year).
hahah ur hilarious new jersey have jason kidd, vince carter, and richard jefferson san antonia have tim duncan, manu ginobili, and tony parker golden state have jason richardson, and baron davis houston have yao ming and tracy macgrady new york have steve francis and stephon (2 ball-hogger and inverson won't be coming here) sacramento have mike bibby and ron artest not to mention the rise of odom and kobe and the young stars of chicago once ben wallace is there to help them detriot have chauncey billup, rasheed wallace, rip hamilton, and tayshaun prince etc...
New York can trade either francis or marbury for iverson then trade whoevers left for someone who can compliment iverson. Then again Francis and Marbury had a huge stock drop last year so it might be hard to trade them for decent players.
Iverson might get traded? Oo... surprising. I was surprised when Vince Carter was traded from the Rapters... but yeah. Yao Ming is awesome.
I think he was answering your question about 2 good players in a team and not regarding them as good teams. Houston was plagued with injuries they actually did well the year before. The Nets are pretty successful, Phoenix, and Sacramento had a pretty good run after they obtained Artest.
