Kungfu superstar Jackie Chan said he would donate all his property after his death during a recent meet'n'greet with Chinese college students. The actor donated half of his property 10 years ago. He said he still needed the other half to raise his son and pay for his employees, the United Daily News reports. Chan has a wide range of collections, including 7 ancient Chinese houses. He revealed that he plans to donate six of them. He will also donate props used in his films to the Shanghai municipal government as part of an exhibition in the Jackie Chan Film Art Museum, which started construction last July and is expected to open to the public on October 1, 2009. I hope he'll leave something for his family, giving it all away is great for the public or the Gov't-evil
not all i hope. i know he probably thinks it'll be good for his family to be independent and find their own way. but everything? at least leave something for his wife and son. he wasn't there for them for the most part. so at least they shouldn't have to worry about finding a living in case Jaycee can't make it in the entertainment industry, they're gonna need jackie's money lol
i guess the guy wanna be remembered after his death .. how selfish and self-absorbed can you be .. sigh .. if he's truly generous, then there's no need to say it until you're there or done it. also, it only said "properties" .. not his entire fortune I gathered ... the cash, stocks, etc.. still able to give to his family ...lol
