Since marrying Singaporean businessman Liu Zhimin (劉志敏) in 2008, 45-year-old retired TVB actress, Jacqueline Law (羅慧娟) lived the life of a socialite. However, last year, it was rumored that Jacqueline suffered from pancreatic cancer. Fortunately, Jacqueline possessed a cheerful personality and the cancer was able to be controlled. It was understood that Jacqueline recently entered the hospital due to illness. Good friend, Louie Castro (賈思樂) visited Jacqueline at the hospital the day before and indicated, “The situation is okay; there is no need for everyone to worry!” Dating Stephen Chow (周星馳) in the past, Jacqueline Law was frequently frustrated in health and love. Years ago, Jacqueline suffered hearing loss due to a diving accident. She also possessed depression for many years, until she met her husband Liu Zhimin, who helped her to find joy in life again. Unexpectedly, Jacqueline was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year. Due to chemotherapy treatment, Jacqueline suffered hair loss. Aside from enduring the pain of chemotherapy, Jacqueline also had to wear a wig to hide her hair loss. She continued to face her situation with strength. Asked whether she in fact had cancer, Jacqueline said positively, “There is no need to talk about it. If you see you [me] well, then [I am] well.” Last month, Jacqueline attended a promotional event with good sister, Monica Chan (陳法蓉). However, recent news of Jacqueline being re-admitted to hospital, due to serious illness, made everyone worry about her situation. Creds: Oriental Daily/Jstars
