Jam Hsiao is crazy about cats and while his own expenditure doesn't exceed NT $150 per day, he'll spend NT $30 thousand every month on new toys and necessities for his cats "Bei Hui" and "Dong Qu". When he has to go overseas, he will definitely send them to the "Presidential Suite" of cat boarding shops. Those rooms are 3 times the size of a normal room! Also, once Jam enters his hotel room while overseas, he'll immediately turn on his laptop and have a webcam conversation with his daughters, telling them stuff like "Daddy's watching you guys from here!" Although both of the cats can't hear him, he's still happy to keep having such conversations with them.

Jam has loved cats since young and used to get alot of scratches on his body due to playing with the cats. He doesn't care about such scratches though. Jam doesn't do much shopping but he loves to visit the pet shops. Once he walk s into the pet shop, don't expect to see him for quite some time.

Jam's love for cats has caused a pet food company to decide to offer him free cat food. Such an act is making him consider getting one more cat to join the family but his manager is objecting to it, worried that he'll neglect his work due to his cats. "You have a concert and new album coming. There's no time to take care of another cat. Better to wait till next year."

Jam often has to work overseas and when he deposits his cats at a boarding house, there'll always be a scene of great reluctance as "Bei Hui" will start to get mad over staying at a boarding place instead of at home. He'll patiently show his "fatherly" side and "educate" her "You're the big sister, you need to behave well and take care of pretty "Dong Qu"!" Such an act will usually take place for a whole 10 minutes and more and Jam will usually stay with his cat for half a day, watching them settle in before he's willing to leave.
