Janice's Dramatic Weight Loss After signing Janice as a singer, Leon has always been speaking highly about keeping a healthy image. Although Janice has always been ridicule of being a chubby girl since her debut, she has actually not taken it to heart. However, her debut concert coincides with Sammi Cheng's comeback show. Facing a big rival, it cannot but be comparable by the most perfect posture. In order to wear a skirt showing her legs to attract the audience, Janice is determined to lose weight and even received a large sum to become a fitness spokesperson for Perfect Shape. After a sequence of lymph massage treatments provided by the fitness company, Janice successfully shed 10 pounds helping her move forward to battle the HK Coliseum. Leon supports Janice losing weight as a build up for the concert. In order to keep a healthy image, Janice is prohibited from revealing too much skin. Although a little is revealed, she's satisfy with the outcome. She said, "I shed 10 pounds in a month. Lost two inches around the waist, but I don't want to be skinny to the bones. I feel lighter and comfortable now. I will even keep it up after the concert! Besides practicing dance steps and breathing exercises, I take out two hours for lymph massages. I want to be able to wear a skirt and show my legs at the concert." Asked if Leon ordered not to reveal too much, Janice said, "The company doesn't want me to be too sexy, so each outfit is worn tightly. But, the company wants me to be slimmer!" In the past, many singers filmed fitness ads including Joey Yung, Twins, and etc. All completely showed their figures and even wore swimsuits to demonstrate their achievements.
