hey can everyone recommend me some japanese bands
i recently heard ellegarden and radwimps and theyre pretty good
so if anyone knows any other jap punk bands

all the j-rock bands sang for animes are AWESOME

 

DBSK is korean, but they sing tons of japanese songs.
i recommend Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki, and Yui

 

i'm surprised no one has mentioned gackt/malice mizer, hyde/larc en ciel also a lesser know (but up and coming) is heidi. you can find a lot of free dls of their songs on http://jrock-utilidades.blogspot.com/2007/10/heidi.html as long as you have utorrent or other torrent program. also when i am home i have a lot of japanese bands on soulseek. slsk.org you can find a lot of good bands a lot of asian music too!

 

don't rele listen to jap music and don't know any bands rele. but for singers, utada hikaru and yui are quite gd.

 

L'Arc en Ciel's very very good, songs like "Heaven's Drive", "Ready Steady Go!", "Blame", "Get out from the Shell", "All Dead" and "Trick" r simply amazing ;D I recomend Mell(from Black Lagoon's OP), Galneryus, Blasdead, UVERworld, Malice Mizer, High and Mighty Color and Asian Kung Fu Generation

 

Try GLAY... I love them though have not been buying their CDs for some time because............. I live in boring Perth where anything that don't sound english is not easily available...
