Japanese Rpgs like Chronicle Trigger, Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy...um all of them except 11, I'ven't played the real anime ones like Star Ocean and stuff. But I'm a huge lover of jap rpg-they're one reason why my eyes are blurry and I have to wear glasses cause I've used to spent so much time leveling up my characters.-cool2
There is a big difference between Japanese and Western RPG. Japanese RPGs tends to be very repetitive and lineair, for instance Final Fantasy series Western RPGs tends to be more free and non-lineair, for instance Warcraft
Jap rpgs FTW loved the Final Fantasy series , Star ocean series , some of the tales series mainly anything that square relaease that has appeal
FF7 is the best RPG ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeh i like japanese RPG i think the charater designs are cooler
Asian rpgs have better fighting/martial arts moves. Western ones don't concentrate on the fighting skills that much or they have boring ones.
I really like japanese rpg like final fantasy my favourite series. Its got some really amazing storylines.
Jap, because their fantasy setting is more child like, I don't really like the whole more mature fantasy thing... I make exception though... like Fable and Oblivion. Also, there always something new about Jap RPG's, Western RPGs are always medievil.
