Some very interesting views by teenage children on the subject of Japan and China's Relationship. I think the last kid is closest to my views One things quite clear, Chinese kids love Jap manga lol http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/6545085.stm
These children are wise beyond their years... While the article, by comparing the attitudes of schoolchildren from China and Japan, illustrated and reflected the difference in attitude to war... Yes, it is true that the Japaneses committed cruelty which were unspeakable, however, they have had their fair share of hardship. I found the fact that Japan did not pull a melodramatic act about the A-bombs somewhat honourable, when considering they could have totally done so and antagonize the Americans. Instead, they decided that if anything, the message to present is one that "war is bad to everyone and there's no winning or losing a fight" I applaud their positive and pragmatic attitude. Holding old grudges helps nobody (but to antagonize Japanese and in turn make the China-Japan situation more tense) but it was the route taken by China, unfortunately...
^its true war benefits no one but by teaching that, it can be seen that they were just trying to divert what japan did by saying its bad for both sides but yeh i was amazed at how wise their statements were from such young people
these kids really have their own opinion and analysis of the situation, thats thinking!! they aren't blindly following whats been taught or told....thats quite something
